Diesel has always and will continue to amaze me when it comes to their blue washes, which is why I decided to style them three ways for the men this time. I chose their Shioner jeans which have a great dirty wash in a medium blue tone. See the three looks that I came up with below.
This look here is the closest to my own personal style. I can pretty much live in a pair of jeans, a plain t shirt and a military jacket. Then finish everything off with some slip-ons and a cap. I chose this jacket by 3.1 Phillip Lim because it is not the average surplus jacket with tribal wool on the back of it. It feels fresh, yet you can still wear it with everything. I then chose a simple t shirt by BLK DNM and the always classic pair by Vans. Then for the topper, a cap by New Era.
Blue on blue on blue is one of my favorite combinations next to the other two neutrals, all black and all gray. I wanted to use a graphic t shirt for this look here just for a quick break from a solid. This one by Sundek has a great color combination to it along with a great graphic. For the other blue item I chose a jacket by Topman because I find the shape to work really well with everything else. The shoes are by Seavees. I am a huge fan of chukkas because they can make the simplest of looks feel smarter, yet still have a casual quality to them. Then to finish off the look, a beanie from Topshop.
Double denim is just timeless. You can wear it anytime of the year and it will still look just as fresh as it did when the trend hit off again six years ago. Yes it was six years ago! I paired the jeans with a Gant Rugger shirt and the same Seavees shoes as above. I wanted to bring the sense of those men at Pitti Uomo into this look and finished it off with a scarf from Zara and a hat from Mr. Kim. Both pieces help make the look feel that much sharper in my opinion.
