Levi’s Vintage Clothing as teamed up with Shopbop to relaunch their Orange Tab line. The line was originally launched in 1969 as Levi’s wanted to appeal to youth with a lower price point. The initial styles included skinny and slim fits which were in style at the time. In an effort to keep costs down, the line was created using Line 8 manufacturing method, which is a streamlined method, resulting in styles with 7 belt loops, no rivets, signature back patch, and an orange Levi’s tab.
Orange Tab only released styles into the 70s, so the limited supply quickly made them collectors items. Denim samples were analyzed to match the same fabric as the original pairs and they are being reproduced using the same Line 8 manufacturing methods in the United States. Prices start at $215 and pieces are available for purchase now. You can shop the collection on Shopbop.com.
