Grey jeans have become so popular over the past few years when it comes to fashion. In some ways, grey skinny jeans are the new black skinny jeans and are a great alternative. Some people find black jeans to be a little too harsh for them in terms of colour, so grey can become the perfect base!
You can get so many different washes when it comes to grey as well, so you have a big selection to choose from. You can start with the really dark charcoal coloured greys and go all the way up to the light washes that look almost silver and white. That’s what I love about grey jeans, there is a shade for everything! You can even get them embellished, distressed, ripped, patched etc so you don’t always have to have plain grey jeans.
I’ve put together this post to share with you some of the best grey jeans on the market at the moment. I have included embellished and ripped styles, light grey, mid grey, dark grey and even non skinny grey jeans in flares, bootcuts and boyfriend fits. I’ve also included three different Autumn styling options as I find grey to be perfect for most shades, but have kept a darker palette for the looks below. How many of you love grey jeans?
One of my favourite ways to wear grey denim is with a lighter blue denim jacket or vest. It’s really casual and I love to wear a simple white t-shirt or tank top with the look and some flat sneakers to blend everything together. It’s a really easy outfit and perfect for running errands. You get to wear two pieces of denim too!
This is a more smarter way that I like to wear my grey denim. I think black blazers and heels with a crisp white shirt and lots of jewellery is definitely the way to go. It keeps things looking really smart and tailored, but not too ‘suit like’ which black jeans can make this type of outfit lean towards.
This outfit is a more edgy look and it’s something I would wear myself again. Darker grey jeans paired with a burgundy and black leather style jacket, black boots and silver jewellery. The lighter grey marl tee just makes the transition of greys easier too. I think it’s a great look and since I own this jacket, I might have to put this look together soon!
