Moto jeans have made quite the return this season in many new takes. Whether it be simply embellished with zippers from Anine Bing, or full on padded details at the knees from J Brand and Hudson, to the classic moto styles from James Jeans, they have all released their new takes on the season’s top trend. From denim to leather, here are all of our choices.

Since ’09, the moto jeans have become a staple in many peoples closets (reminisce moment: Balmain Spring ’09). Taking the edgy, cool vibe of bikers and infusing them into denim, they are sure to make anything look cool. Over the seasons, they have either gotten bolder with the details or brought back and made more feminine. Take James Jeans, who released them in pale shades or J Brand, choosing to reinterpret theirs with studs instead of the usual stitching. Whichever style you chose, your looks will embody a new attitude.

This season moto jeans were not just toned down with the everyday denim; many brands have kept true to the staple material associated with bikers; leather. Anine Bing, Elizabeth and James, and Camilla and Marc all kept theirs sleek and clean with tough zippers at the hips, while Rebecca Taylor took hers to the classic moto style by releasing them with stitching at the knee. Then there are the “IT” pants at the moment, the holy grail of this season, the J Brand Nicola Pants. They have taken their popular leather skinny to a new level by ribbing the knees. They not only released these in black, but also made them in white (angels singing). So whether you’re a true denim lover at heart or prefer to go even tougher, there are styles that will suit anyone.
