The J Brand Nicola leather pants also come in white and I couldn’t resist putting looks together with them. The same tough feel with endless amounts of ways to wear them, yet they give a whole new feeling than the black. They feel crisp and are perfect for styling looks for now and for the coming colder months. Plus, since they are leather, there is no worrying about any sheerness.
Grays and silvers are perfect compliments to white pants. When I first saw these, I thought of no other color combination to put with them for the first look. I originally thought of a simple gray t shirt, but when I stumbled across this silver one at Topshop, I thought it added so much more life to the look. Then to make it somewhat more casual, I chose a cardigan/varsity jacket also from the high street store. I then finished off the look with a pair of the Newbury boots from Rag & Bone and to break up the grays I added a backpack by Alexander Wang.
Another combination that you cannot go wrong with is white on white. It’s just so clean and perfect for warmer weather, even when you are pairing it with leather. The graphics on Marcelo Burlon t shirts are one of my favorites and I find that they have a great fit that would work well with the proportions of the pants. To keep the tough theme going, I added a pair of witchy inspired lace-up boots from Saint Laurent and a simple belt from Isabel Marant. To finish it off, I added an ID necklace by Luv AJ just for a little something more.
Along with colorways, I got this Phillip Lim vibe when I first saw these pants. Maybe because both brands have a love for leather and just biker inspired things in general. So I paired the pants with Lim’s finest, an exposed zip sweater, a mixed media mini Pashli to add some more depth and a pair of the Issa boots. Then finished it off with the only non-Lim piece, a studded bracelet by Valentino.
