3 Pairs, 3 Looks, 1 Brand: DL1961

DL1961 asked us to style some of their new jeans from their Men’s summer collection. For this post, I styled their Nick in Bronco, Russell in Viper and the Nick in Fulton. As I see DL as a brand that is very classic with their styles, I wanted to keep the looks smart while still showing off their appeal.

When I think of blue jeans with tonal stitching, I automatically think of denim shirts. When paired together I find the pairing to look casual, yet feel smart. I styled them with a denim shirt from Dolce & Gabbana, driving shoes from Bottega Veneta, and sunglasses by DSquared2. What I like about this look is how easy it can work from day-to-night. You can wear the shirt unbuttoned at the top with the jeans cuffed during the day and then button the shirt up all the way and wear the jeans full length for a summer dinner at the beach.

I wanted to do a look that some would be able to wear to work. The pairing of a classic white button up and clean dark blue jeans will always go together and look great. I chose a shirt from Jil Sander, a belt from Jean Shop, clean sneakers from Common Projects and then finished it off with a classic watch from Uniform Wares.

Now for the day off look. The jeans are paired with a t shirt from James Perse (definitely recommend these), a jacket from Lanvin and some easy shoes from New Balance. I then finished it off with some sunglasses from Kenzo. I always like to include one of these in this post because I find there is no excuse for someone to not look somewhat put together even in their most casual attire.
