When I was in London last month, I also got to see the J Brand Autumn/Winter 2013 collection for the guys as well as the women (you can see the women’s here). The guys only had a small rail of clothes, but from what I could see it was much brighter than the women’s collection wash in terms of colour!
A few of my favourite pieces from the new styles were definitely the light wash grey denim jacket above, the burgundy acid wash jean and also the mid grey wash jean. It’s always nice to see denim jackets being released in different shades and I like the fact that they have strayed away from the classic blue. The grey really is a nice alternative! Their denim jacket also comes in a lighter camel colour, which you can see just below.
There were some other jeans in chino inspired colours, like a washed red, a stone, a bluey grey etc and they seem like they would be more suited to summer, however I can definitely see guys rocking these with jackets for the cooler weather. Acid wash is generally a wash you associate with summer as well, but I think the colour palette of dark shades like burgundy and black really makes it winter appropriate!
There were also some dark blues and blacks among the collection to keep it classic, so there are definitely some regular styles for the guys as well. You can see all of the photos in this post and if you need more details, just comment and let me know! Have you seen any styles you like guys?
