How to Dress for the Winter: New York Edition

For my look I chose these Citizens of Humanity Elson Straight leg jeans because they have a bit of a higher rise and I thought the straight leg would look really nice with these Belle Sigerson Morrison booties. I chose these booties because they’re easy for walking around the city while still keeping your feet warm.

For a top, I chose this Otte NY sweater in camel, I always like turtlenecks because they keep me warm without adding the bulk of a scarf, and I think this slouchiness makes it look very cozy! I think it is easy to stick with basic black outwear and accessories in the winter, but to keep things from getting too boring or drab, I chose this cheery bright peach winter jacket. I wanted to keep the jacket from looking too girly, so I added some edge with this leopard print beret and finished the look with red leather texting gloves, because there’s no bigger pain then taking off your gloves to text!
