2 Ways to Wear the Paige Skyline Ankle Peg in Citron Destruction

When Lorna first showed me these Paige Skyline Ankle Peg in Citron Destruction, my first initial thought was that I need to style them. It is rare to see such a vibrant, fresh pair for the Fall/Winter season, but Paige made them appropriate for the season by adding some distressing to keep them new. For the two looks, I went with styles that were very layered. Just because they are bright, it doesn’t mean they can’t work for right now.

The first look is the simple layering approach. There is something about a long coat that I find to be the chicest thing. You can easily throw it over anything and look put together. I wanted to have the look be warm without adding a ton of bulk. With the Rag & Bone t shirt and Topshop coat, I am sure you will stay warm and look smart. The look doesn’t end there though. I chose the Jeffrey Campbell France boots as I thought the color was a great compliment to the brightness of the jeans.

If a coat and long sleeves isn’t warm enough for you, then this look will sure keep you warm this season. I paired the jeans together with a leather jacket and cardigan by Topshop, a T by Alexander Wang t shirt, and Rag & bone boots. I have always been a fan of layering longer pieces under leather or bomber jackets. Something about the juxtaposition of it, that I find, looks very comfortable. Almost like a security blanket feeling. I chose a heeled boot to keep you looking long and not swallowed by a long sweater. What are your thoughts of these looks? Which one is your favorite?
