Diesel Spring/Summer 2013 Press Day – Men’s

As promised, here is the men’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Diesel that I saw at the press day last week in London. As mentioned previously, the press day was more female focused as that’s what they are pushing this coming season in terms of press (you can see the women’s collection here), but they did have a small section of men’s styles to view at the back.

There wasn’t a huge amount of denim on show, the majority was their sweaters, knitwear, tops, jackets, trousers etc, but they did have some very nice denim shirts and jackets. The pair that stood out to me the most on the rail was a pair of Thavar (which is my favourite male cut). I thought it was grey from further away, but as I got closer I could see it had a subtle plaid print over the denim. They were interesting, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the printing (image 3).

The image above featured most of their denim styles they had displayed and was my favourite section! In order from left to right is a black Thanaz, a pintstipe Thanaz, a rusty coloured Thavar, a mid blue Narrot with subtle bleach prints, the next dark wash jean I don’t remember the name so I apologise, after that was a newer style called Back In The Saddle in black, then a light blue Darron, a black Safado and a stone coloured Braddom. I couldn’t see the pair on the far end as they were in a corner.

Overall, it seemed like they had a very varied selection of clothes, they had everything available that you would want to create a full outfit. I am always still excited to see what new jeans will come out for SS13 as I only got to see a portion of them. I find the Diesel male collection is always more popular than the women’s, so I know there will be plenty to choose from come release dates! As always, just leave me a comment if you have any questions about the new Spring/Summer 2013 Diesel male collection!
