This review is on the Elizabeth and James Diedrick Leather Pants in Sienna. I have been wanting these ever since I first saw them last Summer and got excited when Elizabeth and James sent them over as a gift. I honestly wanted the black due to its versatility, but I am happy to get these because I am just as in love with them as I am with the black.

The details on these is what I love most about them. It is a classic trouser style with a bit of edge from the motorcycle stitching at the knee, grommets, ankle zips, and of course because it is made of leather. I do find the motorcycle stitching to be a bit uncomfortable at times when I feel it rubbing against my skin, but this is an issue with most motorcycle jeans. There is also a secret detail that I did not expect with these. The back welt pockets have zippers underneath which I find to be really cool because they are hidden.

The fit of these is great. I wear a 26/27 in most brands and I took a 6 in these. They fit me slouchy just like the modeled photos below. Being that they are cut like trousers, it looks more natural rather than strange and I find the cut of the leg has a slimming effect. Whenever I put these on I instantly feel skinnier, which is ironic since the pants themselves are quite hefty. The length is 27″ and it hits me right under my ankles, I feel they are a bit short at times, but I really don’t mind it. Being that they are on the shorter side though, I wear these with the ankle zips undone.

The material is a bit thicker than my other leather pants, which I don’t mind because it is getting colder, so they will keep me warm. Even with the thickness they are still very easy to move in. Even though they are thicker they are still very breathable and keep me cool when they should, as well as warm. The inside of the pants is lined just like every pair of leather pants, so you don’t have to worry about lathering yourself up before putting these on. They just slip right on just like any pair of jeans.

The color is what I just absolutely love about these. They have a deep dark, rich brown that just goes with everything. The color is not just a solid brown either. They have some worn spots here and there to give them a worn look which I really like.

Overall, I do recommend these if you are able to find them because they are from a few seasons back. Blue & Cream does have the Black available (which you can click below to buy). With all the details alone, I find they outdo the irritation of the motorcycle stitching. Also the moment you open the box is exactly like the moment of stepping foot into a new car. It just smells amazing. You can click here to get the Black at Blue & Cream.
