J Brand 821 Zoey in Lava

We got to choose our top 5 picks from J Brand this month for our collaborative post. Since summer is almost over and fall is right around the corner, I decided to go down the route of more colder weather appropriate styles and colour hues.

The Zoey in Lava above is my absolute favorite. I have been in love with these since they first came out. The triple zippers at the hips, combined with the deep burgundy shade, is just beautiful and striking. The 620 Mid-Rise skinny in Trinity is much more classic and can go from day to night with its slim fit and versatile wash. I also added the Aidan boyfriend jean in for good measure as it’s a pair of jeans you can keep for a more casual day while relaxing. Wearing skinny jeans every day might be flattering, but sometimes comfort is needed.

I also chose the Fallon in Vintage Evergreen because I love the buttons at the ankles. I saw these at the press day earlier in the year and thought they were really cute; on a plus note, they look soft and comfortable too! Last, but definitely not least, is the 801 Velvet Leggings in Lava. Again I chose the burgundy shade as it’s perfect for fall and velvet is a fabric that works perfectly for the season too!
