Rag & Bone Releases First Limited Edition Jeans For Men – RB15 in Aoyama

Rag & Bone has released their first limited edition hand-processed pair of jeans, the RB15 in Aoyama. Each pair takes two days to create from a custom 14 oz. selvedge denim from one of the world’s most premium denim mills, Nihon Menpu, in Japan.

The denim is then sent over to Rag & Bone’s Los Angeles factory to get sewn together. The brand’s signature details are put on like the hidden rivets at the back pockets and triple needle top stitching at the yoke and inseam. After being put together, each pair is sent over to Henderson, Kentucky, where Dick Gaines, one of the world’s finest denim developers with 26 years artisan laundry denim experience, hand processes each pair individually in his studio. Gaines reduces the color of the denim to a desired vegetable dye look by treating it with a unique resin and tint formula. After the treatment, he then hand sands each pair to give them a look of natural wear (see below to see the front, back, and side of the jeans).

Each pair is then given a hand-written number system, signifying which of the exclusive 76 jeans the owner has purchased. To add more to it’s exclusivity, the jeans also come in a hickory stripe envelope bag. Hurry and get your pair now because like stated above, there are only 76 pairs available.
