Jenna Lyons in a Denim Jacket at the Met Ball
I’m not sure how I missed this one! It looks like Theory wasn’t the only denim on the red carpet at the Met Ball. Jenna Lyons also wore denim, in the form of a tiny cropped jacket. She paired it with a long pink satin skirt and crisp white shirt.
I’m not quite sure what I think of this look. I think that it definitely stays true to Jenna’s quirky style and is certainly something that only she could pull off. I’m not sure how well she really pulled it off. I think that the jacket is a bit too small on her and ultimately does seem a bit too casual for the event. What do you think of Jenna’s look?

it’s definitely a cool look but not for the MET ball..not appropriate.
I get what she was trying to do. Would have been wittier if she had a piece that was cut/styled to look like evening wear like halter neck, then the denim material would have been secondary. I suppose the natural heaviness of cotton denim means it would be tricky to pull off. And yes this jacket is too small for her! Nice try but not quite!
I agree, the jacket is ill-fitting and too small. It needs to fit perfectly to even come close to working.
