Denim Review: Paige Verdugo Polka Dot in Dusty Rose
This weeks review is on the new Paige Verdugo Ultra Skinny Polka Dot jeans in Dusty Rose. I got sent these by the brand to try as I fell in love with the polka dot trend a little while ago. Seeing these in Navy on Gwen Stefani just made me love them even more! As I love colour though, I think the Dusty Rose was much more suited to my style.
The fit of these is much like their other Verdugo jeggings. That’s super stretchy, soft and comfortable yet fitted. They have a lower rise, an ankle length inseam (just about) and a super skinny fit all over. The Verdugo is actually my favourite cut from Paige as I am sure you remember me saying a few times before. I love the fact that they fit like jeans with the pockets and everything else, yet they are so stretchy, they are one of the most comfortable pairs of jeans I own.
The Dusty Rose polka dot wash though is what really drew me to these jeans. This wash being in the Verdugo cut was just a bonus. I absolutely love the polka dot trend right now and I have done for some time, I think it’s so much fun and it reminds me a lot of outfits from the 60′s, but with a much more fresher take on it. The inside of these jeans is actually all white, so when you wear them cuffed you end up with a white denim cuff instead of a polka dot print. I know this because I have worn these 3 times already and one time was cuffed. I think it looked quite cute like that though. However cuffing them with a separate coloured hem line did make my legs look a little shorter than they are, but that’s not an issue since I prefer these full length anyway.
Since the lining is white, I was wondering how exactly they did the polka dots. I was wondering if they dyed the jeans red but left circles of white on them, or if they had red fabric already and then just dyed white circles into them. I have no idea which way it happened, but I definitely like how it turned out.
Sometimes I find with polka dots though, they can be too busy and too much, this is usually when the dots are really small and quite close together, so it was such a nice change to see the chunky spots and for them to be quite spaced apart on this pair, it definitely makes them look better and more statement making in my opinion.
I honestly don’t have anything but good things to say about these jeans. I fell in love with them the moment I saw them and I know I adore a pair of jeans when I want to wear them loads of times. I have already been planning other outfits for them. Out of the 3 colours available, the Navy, White and Dusty Rose, I really do think these are my favourite. I know the Navy would be easier to dress up like Gwen did and the white might be more cute for Summer, but I think these are incredibly pretty and they just work so well with my style. So if you love polka dots and want to try the trend, I would definitely recommend these to you! I actually can’t find any faults with them. Buy these jeans online at PaigeUSA.com for $189.

Sooooo beautiful
Oh thank you!
These jeans look great on you! These polka dot jeans look so slimming which is strange because they usually do the opposite for me lol.
I found the same thing, I worry about printed jeans making my legs look bigger than they are, but some how these don’t create that illusion at all! It’s strange!
As always, I love them, a great fit and colour, strange because I don’t usually like polka dots but they really work with the outfit!
Paige Verdugo Polka Dot in Dusty Rose is really beautiful. Really nice matching. And I liked her necklace also. nice review.
Glad you like them sab!
Thank you About Fashion! My necklace is a deer and it’s from Urban Outfitters last year.
SUPER!!!!!!
Glad you like them julia!
if its a white fabric the red would be printed on the top, you couldnt “dyed the jeans red but left circles of white on them” unless the white is a plastisol print or polyester jacquard. Think they look great though! although i wouldnt pay those prices for fashion jeans!
Oh I wondered if it was done in a tie-dye way, like you can make circles in the jeans and leave them white so the red wouldn’t go on them. I felt the same way about buying the Leopard CE jeans, as they were fashion jeans, but I did buy them and wore them a lot of times actually so they were worth it
The jeans look incredible! I have to ask – where did you get those shoes? They’re so, do gorgeous!
