DenimBlog Picks: Current/Elliott Spring/Summer 2012

When I was viewing the new Autumn/Winter 2012 collection from Current/Elliott (which unfortunately I had to take the post down for the time being as they changed their mind on having the photos up at the moment), I also saw the current Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I thought I would showcase some pieces from this season as more of a whole collection, rather than looking at individual pieces online. I think seeing them all together really gives you a feel for the styles as a whole.

I could definitely see that Spring/Summer 2012 was all about bright, fun, bold pieces with hints of what I would describe as candy. There were quite a lot of stripes that reminded me of candy canes and and the lighter pastel shades remind me of ice lollies/Popsicles. The denim shorts with the outerseam zippers and subtle flower print are adorable, I also really like the polka dots, the neon jeans in orange and blue, the floral prints, the multi coloured Aztec print and the stripes. I also thought the chambray dress was so cute! It’s a great collection! What are some of your favourite denim items from the Spring/Summer 2012 Current/Elliott collection?
