MiH & Anthropologie Pop Up Launch Event

First sold in Jean Machine on the corner of the iconic Kings Road and Flood Street, Chelsea, MiH Jeans is returning to its birthplace for a month-long pop up shop in The Gallery at Anthropologie: in the exact space the original Jean Machine store claimed in 1969.

Echoing the inspirational warehouse space of MiH HQ on Lots Road and surrounded by iconic MiH photography from the 70’s, (including images of Chekkie Maskell, the original face of the brand and Chloe’s mother), The Gallery at Anthropologie will be transformed into an MiH Jeans denim store selling a selection of the most beautiful pieces from the Spring-Summer 2012 collection.

The pop-up shop will showcase the chic Portobello Collection; a capsule collection of denim, silk, linen and chambray ready to wear garments inspired by the cool London styling of the 1970’s and radiating the essence of MiH: casual, individual, effortless. There will also be seven different styles of MiH Jeans from which to choose, as denim comes full circle back to the Kings Road. You will also get a limited edition tote bag with each purchase!

To celebrate the launch, Anthropologie hosted a preview event on the 15th February. Chloe Lonsdale was on hand to share her styling tips amongst a 70’s setting, and help find that perfect pair of jeans. You can see those images in the gallery below.

The Gallery, Anthropologie, 139 Kings Road, London, SW3 4PW is open Monday to Saturday 10:00-19:00 and Sunday 12:00-18:00. You should definitely stop by! You can also buy MiH jeans online at their website here.
