5 LA Fashion Bloggers You Should Know

The blogging world has exploded over the past three years and as the blogging world grows, the harder it is to find those diamonds in the rough. I’m here to make your job a little easier. As an LA native I’ve had a chance to meet different LA based bloggers, all extremely sweet and fun to be around, and also pick my favorites. Of course it was hard to narrow this down to 5 bloggers, but I pushed through. I picked these group of girls because they all have their own style that sets them apart and their blogs all have something different to offer. Now let’s embark on the 5 LA blogger’s You Should Know, journey.

Lust For Love

Lust for Life is more like Lusting for Olivia’s Closet. Stylish sunnies, slouchy sweaters, amazing shoes… Olivia has it all and makes me want it all. Only 19, Olivia has created an empire with her images circulating Tumblr, having over 25,000 fans on Lookbook.nu and her never ending features list. Olivia’s style is vintage inspired and rounded out with an edge. Her photos are whimsical and create a dream world of fashion and style that you want to be in every day. Olivia’s exotic beauty and unique style will have you checking her site every day, hoping for more.

Pandora’s Box Blog

Sarah is your daily dose of rock. Pandoras Box Blog brings an edge that draws me in and makes me want to break something (almost). Whilst her rocker side is predominate, Sarah does have a soft side to her, pairing gorgeous knits and ponchos with rad ankle boots and skinnies. I like to call her style Boho Rock. Besides being featured on a Forever21 billboard in Times Square, Cosmopolitan Russia and Nasty Gal, to name a few, she has her own blog shop where you too can be a boho rocker. Sarah is originally from New York but is now an LA local spreading her style all over the city.

Eloraaaaa

Elora’s self titled blog is not just a source for outfit posts, but inspirational images as well. You can get the feel for Elora’s style straight from the runway and streetstyle pictures she posts; Slouchy yet structured, accessories galore and all around fabulous. Elora has a unique style and has a way, unlike any one I’ve seen, of putting outfits together. Just take her feature in Forever21′s Style Clique in which she had to style four outfits using Forever21 wear and it was flawless. Furthermore she’s not bad to look at either, her natural beauty is eye catching and addictive. As if Elora wasn’t cool enough she’s also a Who What Wear intern putting her in the front line of fashion. If Elora hasn’t made your daily read list yet, she probably should now.

Live Love LA

If I could describe Neekoh from LiveLoveLA’s style, I would say it is simplistic chic. She plays with tones, basics, accessories and pairs them all harmoniously. My favorite thing about LiveLoveLA is the way Neekoh puts together outfits around pants, giving me new ways to wear them and new styles to try out. She makes me fall in love with pants all over again, every time I read her blog. Although she knows how to work a pair of pants, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t work those skirts and dresses just as well. Her effortless, chic style is contagious and makes you think a little differently about how to pair items with each other. Neekoh’s recently been featured as one of FabSugar top 50 looks of 2011 list which is pretty epic. For all things Neekoh, be sure to add LiveLoveLA to your blog list.

La Catrina De La Moda

Ariana mixes her Mexican heritage with her keen fashion eye that makes for a good read. La Catrina De La Moda loosely translates into “Dandy of Fashion” which describes her very well in my opinion. Ariana’s blog is filled with fab wish lists, great deals at stores like TJ Maxx and Ross, and all around outfit inspiration. Not only is her blog helpful with budget buys, but her twitter feed is filled with leads on great deals. If she finds it… she tweets it. Recently Ariana got asked to go to the H&M LA showroom to style herself in the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo collaboration line amongst other bloggers, as well as had a giveaway with some of the clothes from the line.
