J Brand to launch 3 styles to benefitting charity
J Brand has released 3 limited edition skinny colored jeans for women and girls. The new style will be sold exclusively on J Brand’s website and 100% of net proceeds will be donated to City Year. City Year is an organization which aims to reduce high school drop out rates by providing at risk students with mentors and other resources to keep them on track for graduation.
Jeff Rudes, CEO of J Brand, talked about the brand’s ties with the organization, ” We participated in their ‘Spring Break’ event last year and were so moved that we created a collaboration with CAA and Stacey to raise money for this outstanding organization. High schools just a few miles from where our jeans are produced have some of the highest dropout rates in the nation. As a Los Angeles based company, City Year is a perfect way for J Brand to make a difference and give back to our community.” The jeans will be sold on J Brand’s website, JBrandjeans.com.
