Altuzarra Spring 2012

Trends for Fashion Week this season seems to be eyelets, mesh, paneling, tropical, floral prints, and leather/pleather. There were tones of each of those in many of the shows so far. The Spring 2012 Altuzarra wasn’t an exception either.

Looks were kept body-con, tight to the skin, and structured. Shoulders especially, were strong at the Altuzarra show, not padded like the looks of Balmain, just well tailored and angled at 90 degrees. I think the dresses are great. I think the one above is one that needs to be seen on someone like Zoe Saldana or Jennifer Lawrence, as well as the dress on Arizona Muse. Those two would have to be my favorite looks from his show this season. You can see some of the looks from the collection below.
