Katie Holmes in Double Denim – Isabel Marant & Current/Elliott

You can’t expect there to be a denim trend without seeing Katie Holmes in it. She was caught wearing a pair of the pink Isabel Marant Mitchum shorts with a Current/Elliott denim shirt as she was going to the beach with daughter Suri in Miami, Florida. Katie’s style has really evolved in my eyes. She doesn’t look like she really cares about putting on a pristine front anymore. She just wears what she likes and well.

I do think this look is a bit off with the color scheme. The green hat and scarf really throw it off, but Katie’s quirkiness pulls it off. I think a tan fedora an no scarf would make the look a bit better. I do like the shirt an shorts a lot. I love the wash of the shirt an the lace-up detail of the shorts.
