Nudie Jeans Awarded Swedish Eco Label

Here is some great news about Nudie Jeans. They have just won the Swedish Eco label “Bra Miljöval” or “Good Environmental Choice” for all their second hand jeans. Nudie has always been about being eco-friendly with their denim whether it be their eco-line or what they are doing right now with the second hand pairs.

Customers will be able get a discount on new purchases if they leave their old jeans to them. They in turn will remake and repair each pair in a personal way and sell them again, tagged with the new “Good Environmental Choice” label says Karin Stenmar, CSR Manager at Nudie Jeans. I think this is a great idea. One, because you get a great pair of worn in raw jeans and two each pair will have their own unique whiskering. The main reason though is that you are helping out the environment. Nothing will make you feel better than helping.
