Denim Review: Levi’s Made & Crafted White Skinny Jeans
This weeks review is on a pair of Levi’s Made & Crafted white skinny jeans. As you know white is always a huge colour for Spring and Summer so I was really excited to review these for Levi’s.
The one thing that I love the most about these jeans is they are not see through. So often I will try a pair of white jeans and I can’t wear them because they are just too see through and I don’t feel confident going out like that. It’s wonderful that these are a much thicker denim so it hides everything. You can barely see the pocket bags at the front and it’s pretty safe to wear any colour underwear you wish with these jeans.
As far as the fit goes, these are very skinny, they feel much skinnier than the classic skinny Levi’s jeans. The Made & Crafted collection has a different feel to the denim and they feel a better quality. They are much more durable and like I said, they are super skinny which is nice since I love my jeans to fit like second skin. Since I am so used to wearing jeggings though, they are a bit more restricting when you walk and sit but that’s because of the thicker denim.
There isn’t much to say about the wash since it’s white but it is a pure bright white, it’s not an off white or more of a cream tone, it’s one of the brighter whites that is the perfect shade. I can see these reflecting the sunlight and heat perfectly.
The back pockets are not the most flattering on myself though, I find them to not be positioned as perfect as they could be for my body type but those of you who read my reviews will know how picky I am with back pocket positioning. It’s the first thing I look for in a jean. I’m not saying they are the worst at all, they fit quite well, just not as well as other brands I have tried, but we all have different body shapes so what works for me might not work for someone else. They do run pretty true to size as well.
