DenimBlog Exclusive: Interview on Joe’s Jeans Micro Skinny Flare

We got an interview with Joe Dahan, creative director and founder of Joe’s Jeans. We wanted to know more about the latest styles from the brand including the new Micro Skinny flare that seems to be their best silhouette for the season. Carry on reading below to find out more.

DB: So tell us about the new styles from Joe’s Jeans?

Our latest style is the Skinny Micro Flare. It’s tight fitting from the hip down with a slight 17-┬¡ÔÇÉinch flare that starts just above the ankle.

DB: What made you design the Micro Flare?

Flares are an important trend right now and we wanted to provide our girl, who is still in love with her skinnies, a modern version of the ’70s flare.

DB: What washes does this style come in?

It comes in black, dark overdye and a couple of vintage washes.

DB: What sort of body shapes do you envision wearing the Micro Flare?

The Skinny Micro Flare beautifully elongates one’s figure so it’s flattering across various body shapes.

DB: What are your other favorite jeans from the spring line?

It’s so hard to pick! They’re all my babies. Well, I can tell you that the girls in the office are crazy about the Best Friend in Punch -┬¡ÔÇÉ a very cool, casual jean in a vibrant wash. It’s due out later this week. The Patricia wash has been a big hit – it only comes in rigid denim bodies like the High Waist Short and the Cigarette. Look for it late/early April.

DB: What was your inspiration for the cuts and washes this season?
Rock ‘n’ roll and the ’70s.
