The Levi’s Denim Bike

How amazing is this bike? It’s the cutest bike I have ever seen! That may be because it’s made of denim though! You all now how I feel about denim, ha ha.

This spring, Levi’s is celebrating “California Dreaming” and dedicating special attention to the Fixed Gear Bike movement that has spread from the brand’s hometown of San Francisco across the world.

In collaboration with Unik bike, Belgium’s master in re-shaping vintage bikes, Fixerati, a Brussels-based shop specialized in sourcing rare bike parts, and Brother Cycles, based in London and known for its high quality bicycle frames, the Levi’s brand has created a unique Fixie bike that embodies modern craftsmanship and reinvents the popular Fixie bike using iconic denim detailing.

The Levi’s Fixie bike is one of a kind, featuring carefully selected pieces such as the hand-made Brother Cycles frame, a custom graphic design and paintjob showcasing the red, white and blue colors of the American flag as well as denim stitching and the arcuate that the Levi’s brand is known for. Other details include a denim saddle, a denim handlebar and bronze metal buttons, all of which have been handcrafted to recreate the authentic, original and modern denim style of the Levi’s brand.

This exclusive collectible will be given away as a prize in a competition that started as of February 9th on www.levi.com in Europe. The online game is called “Share and Win”.

For the coming month, European-based visitors will be able to “Share and Win” by posting their favorite items from the current Levi’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection to their Facebook profiles.
