Nicole Richie attended an event at Bergdorf Goodman to kick off New York Fashion week. I always love Fashion Week and I can’t wait to see the fall collections. Nicole has also been busy promoting her lines, House of Harlow and Winter Kate. Her accessories line, House of Harlow, recently added sunglasses to the collection.
Nicole piled on the House of Harlow accessories and shoes with her Roland Mouret denim dress. Although I love her accessories, I really think this dress is great. I love the detailing on the bodice and the fact that it’s in denim makes it a bit more casual. You can buy it at Bergdorf Goodman for $1,325.00.
Sarah Jessica Parker wore a pair of J Brand “612” corduroy pencil leg pants in Vintage Drab while arriving to the set of her new film in New York. Sarah seems to love her corduroy jeans, she has worn a couple of pairs of Paige Premium and J Brand before in the fabric.
How many of you are rocking corduroy jeans lately? I’ve never really jumped on board the trend to be honest, I do like the fabric but I’ve just never wanted to stray away from denim, the only time I do is for cargos! You can buy these jeans for $158 at Revolve Clothing.
Chris Hemsworth heads to a studio in LA but first stopped to give the photographers a thumbs up. Chris has been busy this year! He recently married his girlfriend and has a new film premiering. His latest film, Thor, previewed during the Super Bowl and will be in theaters May 6th.
Looking laid back for the day, Chris wore a pair of Levi’s straight leg jeans, a tee shirt and sneakers. I feel like we see many more male celebrities in Levi’s than female, what do you think? Perhaps because there are so many more jean options for women’s styles vs. mens? Either way Levi’s is a great classic brand!
This weeks review is on a pair of jeans similar to my last review, the Paige Premium Verdugo jeggings in Eternity. I got these around the same time as the 7 For All Mankind jeans in Garnet and I like them maybe just a little bit more. The only reason is because of the shade of purple/red they are, it’s beautiful.
The fit of these jeans is the classic Verdugo jegging fit, super stretchy and really comfortable yet still remaining flattering. They have a low rise which is the perfect height and the one thing I love about Paige’s jeans is that she knows how to make the back rise a bit higher so you don’t show off your butt when you sit down. This pair is made from cotton and elastane and is so soft! Being that these are a twill material they do attract the fluff and hairs so they do get quite dirty quickly but that’s easily removed with some tape.
The colour is my favourite thing about these jeans! I fell in love with them a long time ago when I saw them on Blake Lively (here). It’s a deep red but it has tones of purple in it as well, it’s a really unique shade and it’s just so pretty! If I had the choice of only wearing one coloured pair of jeans, it would be this colour. It’s perfect for so many occasions as it’s warm and and it reminds me of ruby’s. When I wore these to London to see Paige she said that the Eternity was one of her favourites too.
I would definitely recommend these to you if you are looking for a coloured jean, the red tones are definitely in this season and they match pretty much everything. I was sent these jeans by Designs by Stephene and I was over the moon because I had wanted them for so long. You can buy Paige jeans at their online store here.
