Porsche To Launch Denim Collection

Porsche Design Group, the brainchild behind Porsche, has just announced their intention to expand their empire to denim. Porsche has collaborated with denim company, Blessed & Cursed to create their first denim collection, which will be released in September 2011.

The collection, which will be called Porsche Design Denim, will feature both men’s and women’s styles. The line highlights Porsche’s focus of ” Functional, timeless and purist design.” Details will be car centric, including the three washes, blue, black and an exclusive light blue called “Mechanic” wash. Even the details, such as screw-like pocket rivets, chrome zippers and pocket embellishments of the letter P and numbers (Meant to look like the serial ID number of a Porsche) are details from the cars.

The prices range from $460-590 and will be available for purchase at 106 Porsche stores nationwide.
