7 For All Mankind just launched their virtual store on the popular online game Retail Therapy (joining Diane Von Furstenberg and Topshop). They are the first denim store with a branded store on the game. I absolutely love the game and have been playing it for months. I’ve already visited the 7 For All Mankind store and purchased the jeans, a dress, a jacket and I own the cargos and other items.
The store is accessed via Facebook and can be played for free at http://playretailtherapy.com/play-now. It’s definitely a lot of fun, especially if you love and adore fashion and denim, you will have a great time playing the game and running your own boutique. I like the game because I can wear all of the clothes I can’t afford to buy. There are many many brands to choose from. Even Balmain, Current/Elliott and more, but they do not have a store like 7 For All Mankind do.
Modeled after 7 For All Mankind’s existing retail stores, the virtual store utilizes the same design aesthetic and architectural elements to create a seamless look and feel. The products available in the virtual store replicate pieces from 7 For All Mankind’s spring 2011 collection.
If you are brand new to the game, you begin with a small, empty boutique. You earn virtual money to customize your store with stylized furnishings or grow your store into giant department store. In addition to running your own boutique, you can shop at your friends’ stores or stores hosted by brand-name retailers.
“We are constantly looking for ways to engage our consumers, whether it’s virtually or in our retail stores. PopSugar’s Retail Therapy allows us the ability to do both at the same time – all while offering unique content for our Facebook fans. To create a virtual experience that mimics the premium experience of shopping in a real 7 For All Mankind store is exciting and creates a new level of affinity, familiarity, and attachment to the brand. We are excited to be a leader in this,” said Leilani Augustine, 7 For All Mankind’s VP of Marketing.
