Wrangler’s Stop Thinking Event 2
The second Wrangler Stop Thinking event was held on October 30th 2010. Wrangler challenged four thrill-seekers to take part in a Drag Race at Santapod Raceway, rocketing down the 1/4 mile track in just 8 seconds. This is the latest in a series of adrenaline-fuelled challenges that Wrangler have been hosting. Their Stop Thinking campaign encompasses Wrangler’s brand ethos, encouraging us to throw caution to the wind and run with our instincts.
For Saturday’s Drag Race, Wrangler’s Facebook followers had been asked to guess the activity from a cryptic clue, then to reveal their racing name (eg Bob ‘The Bullet’ Jackson) and finally to explain, why are you in such a hurry? From these answers, four speed demons won their seat in a Drag Car.
Along with having their adrenaline levels dialed up to 11, each seat winner enjoyed full VIP treatment at Santa Pod race track in Northamptonshire and were kitted out in Wrangler’s cool contemporary autumn winter jeans. Wrangler’s next wild event is being prepped now, so stay in touch via the Facebook group.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
