Trend Alert: Panel Denim
A trend that the celebs seem to love is the Panel Trend. I remember the first time seeing this look was on Lily Allen. She was wearing a pair of gray Superfine Legging jeans with black jersey stretch panels placed on the inseam. Who knew she would have been the front runner of this trend? Now many brands have followed behind with their own versions.
This trend, I believe, is a more polished take on the patchwork and repaired trend. But instead of having dispersed patches all over the jeans, these panels are placed to add a little more detail and some are even placed to give an illusion. What is the illusion? Slimmer legs! Everyone wants those. There are tons of styles, but check out the few styles below from Cheap Monday, Erin Wasson x RVCA, 7 For All Mankind, Victoria Beckham Denim, Helmut Lang, and of course Superfine. You can find these styles at RevolveClothing, ShopBop, and Net-a-Porter.
