Denim Review: Siwy Hannah Jeans In Bluestorm

This weeks review is on a pair of jeans I have been lusting after for a very long time! Siwy Hannah crop jeans in Bluestorm. I fell in love with them earlier this year when all of the celebs were wearing them. I just love the amount of distressing they have. I have to admit, the sun was shining in my eyes and the wind was really uncooperative, it was blowing my hair everywhere so please excuse that, haha.

I’ve always loved the fit of the Hannah jeans because they are really skinny, I love how they hit just at the ankles as well, even though they are supposed to be cropped, it’s perfect for my legs as I have quite short legs. The rise is quite low as well, I think it’s around a 7 inch rise so it’s the perfect height. One thing I find funny about Siwy jeans is I seem to suit the shorts a lot more than the jeans, the shorts just seem to be more flattering on my butt. I’ve found it hard getting used to the pocket shape of Siwy jeans as well, I wasn’t sure at first if the round part of the pocket at the bottom really flattered my butt, I thought they would be more suited to those with a more flatter tush. But I think, after getting used to the pockets, I do like them. I will be honest though, for my figure, I do prefer the plain pockets like that of Paige jeans or some Diesel Matic’s. I’m really fussy with my back pockets. But depending on your figure, Siwy jeans can look amazing! Take Ashley Tisdale, Heidi Montag, Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian for example.

The wash however, really really makes me love these jeans!! I’m obsessed with the wash, it’s such a pretty dark blue but the main thing I love most is the huge amount of distressing on the front. I go crazy for distressing and I can’t get enough of it, I think it adds so much character to the jeans. It makes them a lot more unique. The wash is really quite soft as well, it’s a bit stiff to start out with, like most jeans, but once you break it in it’s very comfortable. I hope Michelle brings out more washes like this for her coming seasons! I know she has Temptest, snowstorm and blackstorm and I think they are all beautiful!

I’m wearing another brand I love with the jeans too, Lauren Moshi. I have on her bow tee and it’s SO comfy!! The fabric is as soft as silk! Both the jeans and the tee were sent to me by Apparel Addiction so thank you for that! Buy these jeans at Apparel Addiction for $198 and buy this tee for $88.
