MiH + Liberty Collaboration

The list of collaborations this year has been endless and MiH has added another one to the list. They will be joining forces with Liberty to come out with a few limited edition pairs to their Autumn/Winter 2010 line. Drawing from the key decade of both brands, you can expect to see prints and fits from the 70s in what they are calling the “Flower Power” collaboration. They didn’t just stick to the jeans with the inspiration. They also grabbed details, like the stars from Liberty’s old shopping bag and logo, and incorporated them into the tags for this collaboration. Isn’t that a great idea?

I think the detail of the “Dakota” jeans above is very unique. But right on trend with the printed denim trend. They got a feather print designed by Liberty in the 60s and used the new technique of laser fading to put the detail on the jeans. I can see someone like Fergie or maybe Dakota Fanning wearing these. They also have these jeans that are very on trend for the Fall, a pair of purple velvet flares. Why not combine two of the biggest trends for Fall? Velvet and Flares. Plus it’s the Marrkesh fit, so you know they are flattering. They have to be the most flattering fit that I have ever seen on a woman. Great News! They will be available this week. So how many of you readers are willing to make a statement this fall with these jeans?
