If you’re really feeling the need to go all out denim one day, I urge caution before you start laying out that nice denim shirt, ready to pair with some jeans. As a rule of thumb, I would advise not going overboard with anything. The double denim look is enough of a statement in itself, so there’s no need for loads of accessories or really bold footwear. Most importantly, make sure both denims are a different colour, so there’s enough contrast. Two pale denims sloshed together, for example, does not bode well for a good double denim result.
