Gwyneth Paltrow Wears American Eagle In Vogue

Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest cover girl for the August issue of Vogue. Gwyneth appears in Burberry Prorsum on the cover of the issue but kept it more casual for the editorial spread. Gwyneth wore a pair of American Eagle boyfriend jeans and paired them with a pajama style top.

I am really surprised to see American Eagle represented in Vogue! I do think that it’s great Vogue is branching out and not being as label conscious, rather focusing on the fashion aspect. American Eagle is super popular with celebrities like Miley Cyrus,  Cameron Diaz,  and Britney Spears. What do you think of American Eagle appearing in Vogue? Is it a good thing or does the magazine lose its “status”?
