Fashion Flashback: Hammer Pants / Carrot Pants

STOP.   HAMMERTIME.   Ahhh the late 1980s…gotta love ‘em!  MC Hammer was so popular back then, he is considered a forefather and innovator of pop rap, and is the first hip hop artist to achieve diamond for an album.  So what is Gwen Stefani trying to tell us here?  Is this style really back?

Do you like her fashion flashback of these pants?  She has been seen in non-denim hammer/carrot/harem type pants a few times and now below she has them in denim too.  I think we need to see them on more celebs before we really decide if they are making a full comeback or not…
