Denim Review: Domino Denim Jacket

After seeing this Domino denim jacket on Jessica Alba a while back, I fell in love with it! I got it last month and it’s my favourite denim jacket that I own! It’s different to the normal blue washes as it’s a washed out black. It’s definitely a moto inspired garment because of the zippers it has on the front of the jacket. I also really love the cropped sleeves, it definitely gives it a more casual feel rather than a smarter look.

I am definitely very impressed with the fit of this jacket too. Normally when I try a denim jacket it’s a little big in the shoulders or the waist area doesn’t fit correctly etc, there is always something but with this jacket it actually fits perfectly everywhere. The shoulders are cut very nicely, the back is really flattering as it nips in at the waist and the sleeves are cropped in the right place to make them look flattering. I also really love the asymmetrical zip up the front of the jacket, that’s a really great touch.

I know there have been a few jackets that look very similar to this one from other brands, I haven’t tried those other jackets but I am very happy with this Domino one. I love it!

I hadn’t really heard of the brand Domino Denim before seeing this jacket actually, I had to look into it and find out more about brand. They have some really nice styles. I also have a few pairs of their jeans and skinny pants and I think they are really pretty. I’m definitely excited to see what is in store for the brand in the coming seasons.

Overall Opinion
I really love this Domino denim jacket because of how well it’s cut, it’s very flattering and it’s very on trend with the moto inspiration. The washed out black is a nice touch as it’s different to the normal blue. I really like the casualness of this jacket and how you can also dress it up with a floral dress and heels. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a moto denim jacket like this.
