Proenza Schouler collaborates with J Brand

Fashion favorite, Proenza Schouler is the latest brand to collaborate with J Brand. This collaboration marks the first denim venture for Proenza Schouler. The designers, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough, commented that ““For fall 2010 we are exploring ideas closer to home. Urban elements are important as is the idea of uniforms. Denim fits the bill as the most ubiquitous item in most people’s wardrobe. Proenza Schouler will for the first time, explore this classic element, never the-less infusing it with the Proenza Schouler DNA.”

In their Fall/Winter 2010 collection, Proenza Schouler featured a modern silhouette of high waist skinny jeans, which had all over graffiti print, lending an 80s street vibe. The jean is made from 11oz of Japanese denim, which is printed, then painted to achieve the texture and dimension, ensuring a unique look.

The jeans will be available in specialty stores in July.

What do you think of these jeans, Would you wear them? I can see Rihanna pulling them off!
