Trend Alert: Patches
A new trend that seems to be showing up in most of the brands are patches. Usually put on to cover a hole or to give a carefree hippy vibe that tears won’t give alone. But now they are put on to add to the distressing, they are even under the tears. Brands such as Hudson, True Religion, and more are on this trend. This is also not just for the ladies. Hysteric Glamour, Ksubi, and Diesel have also come out with styles for men. Check out some of the styles below.
Editors note – Diesel have been patching the holes in their jeans ever since 71J came on the scene which was years ago. I wonder if all the brands are now following in their trend to make their jeans more sturdier as well as fashionable?

I have the True Religions pictured. Wasn’t too crazy about them when I bought them (I got them super on sale and bought because the price was so good). This makes me like them a bit more. haha…
this is an old trend… new trends happen then they re-appear every few years a little different. No is really the first….
Definitely an old trend (I remember loving patch jeans in middle school!)… But here is a modern pair from Gap at a more accessible price: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=48607&vid=1&pid=705558
