The new Tidal Pocket by Paige Premium Denim
I think this is wonderful! This pocket design is pretty and loads different to Paige’s normal designs. Carry on reading below to find out how you can help those suffering from anorexia and buy these beautiful jeans.
This February, Paige Adams-Geller, the creator behind Paige Premium Denim and PPD Jeans, is using her past battle with an eating disorder and her celebrity adored jean line to help raise awareness for National Eating Disorders Month. Paige introduces the Tidal Jean – a limited edition design that will benefit The Kirsten Haglund Foundation – a charitable organization that provides hope, networking and financial aid to those seeking treatment and freedom from eating disorders.
Paige was initially inspired by an email she received from a young woman in early 2008. Like most days, Paige was answering the hundreds of personal emails that she gets from customers – questions about fits, washes and body types. She came across an email from a young girl in Idaho who suffered severe financial hardship due to her treatment for Anorexia – a service not covered by most insurance carriers. The email inspired Paige to spread awareness about eating disorders and to help raise money for those who could not afford treatment.
Later that fall, Paige’s mission was furthered when she met former Miss America Kirsten Haglund while the two women were speaking on an eating disorders panel at Harvard University. After meeting, Paige and Kirsten decided to join forces to raise money for Haglund’s foundation and help inspire others to get help.
The result is the Tidal Pocket – a layered denim pocket inspired by the ocean and a heart – encouraging women to love themselves and find serenity – just as Kirsten, Paige and others have done throughout their treatment. Available this February at Paige stores around the country, the Tidal Pocket will be featured on three styles:
The Silverlake Short: A low rise cutoff in the roughed up, vintage Harlow Destruction wash.
The Skyline Ankle Peg: The classic rise ankle skinny will be featured on the dark Rebel without a Cause wash.
The Laurel Canyon: Just like the Skyline, the signature low rise boot cut will also be available in the Rebel without a Cause wash.

I found your blog via Google on Friday while searching for mens low rise jeans and your post regarding The new Tidal Pocket by Paige Premium Denim looked very interesting to me. I was impressed by your site and offerings. I was looking at some of the articles and it really impressed me. All I can say is congratulations on creating this site and what took you so long? I look forward to returning.
Why wouldn’t the jeans come in size 24 and 25??? Not all small girls have eating disordes- some of us are naturally small, and should be to advocate the same cause a person who wears a size 29. After all, Eating Disorders are about feelings, not sizes. Thanks.
