7 For All Mankind are releasing their new items of clothing for men which will be available around April, for their new Summer 2010 collection. They describe the line as a directional, dramatic collection that combines the brand’s signature sophistication with a spirit of adventure and exploration. An eye-catching array of styles is offered, with wearable bleaching and acid techniques giving dimension to the denim assortment. These “Bleach & Acid”techniques create a playful alternative to classic indigo while expressing a new attitude for 7 For All Mankind.

The Salty Vintage wash plays to 7 For All Mankind’s California heritage with its sandy tint and subtle whiskers, hand sanding and natural nicking and grinding – all inspired by the beach. Sportswear features luxe fabrications with soft, washed out graphics. To enhance the lived-in look,7 For All Mankind “Deconstructed Reconstructed”its iconic back pocket designs. Newness – and authenticity – emerges from the act of destroying and then repairing. The Stained Painter wash features hand sanding and whiskers for beautiful highs and lows;black oil stain spots and bleached holes give the wash an authentic “painter”look. The coin pocket is ripped out and the back pocket is torn and then repaired for customized look. Subtle, low-contrast tie dye treatments on sportswear create a unique worn-in effect.

Trends: Bleach & acid, Authentic, natural distressing, Deconstruction/reconstruction, rip/repair, Back pocket novelty, Subtle Tie-Dye, Reverse screen printed graphics, Lightweight woven shirts.

I thought the women collection was WOW but here is another cool collection ! I really like the first pair it looks like a boyfriend jeans for men that can be cool in the summer!!! I’m not a big fan of the acid washed jeans and the bleached jacket that look a little feminine but are OK. The painters jeans are I N C R E D I B L E and the stipped t shirt is classic and classy under a fitted blazer ! It seems that Seven never gets wrong ….
