I’m terribly excited about today’s inauguration. We get to see what Michelle Obama is wearing! Not since Jackie O has a First Lady or her fashion been so highly publicized.

Don’t bother asking Michelle Obama what she’s going to wear to her husband’s inauguration or the inaugural balls on Tuesday. Reportedly, the busy mom and first-lady-to-be doesn’t know herself what she’ll be wearing.

Whatever Michelle Obama chooses to wear, it will be discussed and dissected by fashion critics, who still swoon over the sleeveless ivory sheath that Jackie Kennedy designed herself for her husband’s 1961 inauguration.

Personally, I can’t wait to see what and who our new First Lady wears! I’m sure it won’t be jeans. Michelle tends to lean towards American designers like Maria Pinto, Thakoon Panichgul or Donna Ricco. She usually goes for simplistic and ladylike with a twist of flair.
