Jan. 20th, 2009 Runway to Change Inaugural Collectibles

Diane Von Furstenberg, Tory Burch, Alexander Wang, Zac Posen, Narcisco Rodriguez, Donna Karan, Derek Lam, Rachel Roy, Dereon, and Gerald Matthews all designed items to raise money that will help defray the multimillion-dollar costs for the inauguration celebrations, according to committee spokesman Brent Colburn.

It’s a responsible step taken to prevent further deficit to the already fragile American economy. I’ve never seen a site like this previously by a President Elect. Being that Al Gore invented the internet, you’d think he might’ve drummed something like this up for Clinton, ya know?
