Advertising screwing with peoples minds and womens bodies

Here is a pretty interesting video about advertising and the portrayal of women. It has some good points and some pretty solid examples to back up her points. What do you think about the video, is it a bit too over the top, or something that should be focused on?


  1. she seemed a bit stretching it when she spoke of the advertisement for the treadmill and taking up as little space as possible

  2. It is true that women compare themselves to these “perfect” images but I don’t think magazines retouching images is something that’s going to change anytime soon.
