Fashion Week: Diesel Black Gold Spring 2009 Runway Show
The Diesel Black Gold runway show, as well as the William Rast show, seemed to have a theme of dirty, destroyed denim, many with black smears all over them. Is this the latest trend? I am not loving the “dirty” look. A few rips and tears here and there is one thing, but jeans that look like your car spilled oil all over them and then you ran them over is quite another… In the front row were model Petra Nemcova, actress Juliette Lewis, model Daisy Lowe and DJ Mark Ronson.

This is quite different from the more polished look they had last season with this line. I guess they are starting to trend away from the clean APC type look back to more destroyed denim . . . *sigh* it’s always a cycle I suppose.
