Guess Jeans wants a model like Amy Winehouse?

You’ve heard of heroin chic – now top denim company Guess has injected the Australian star of their latest campaign with the gritty rock n’ roll image made famous by hopeless drug addict Amy Winehouse.  Apparently we can expect some Wino looks to be coming our way. 

During the Wino-lookalike’s photoshoot, she was done up to mimic Amy.   In my opinion, the heroin chic look is so over – and Amy is heroin chic.  There’s a big difference between Avril Lavigne or Gwen Stefani’s rock & roll images and that of Amy Winehouse.  Perhaps they picked the wrong muse. What do you think? Is it a great idea to mimic the “Crackie of Camden” rock n’ roll look or is it so over?
