"The super premium jeans are made out of the best quality denim in vintage looms and many of the jean styles still have the logo hand painted on to them. Their prices range from $150 to $1000 for a pair."

The PumaxEvisu line is actually the cheapest kind of jeans that Evisu makes. I used to own a pair and they were worse than R&R's at ripping. After I did a little research, I found out that the PumaxEvisu line doesn't have a hand-painted logo and the quality is subpar at best. The high quality selvedge jean you're referring to in Evisu's line will cost you towards the upper end of the price scale. My cousin, who lives in Asia (where Evisu is huge, esp in its origin), has a few pairs and they're great jeans, but they're nothing better than what you'd find in any other pair of raw denim. For that matter, any pairs of raw should "trump" 7FAM and R&R.

I'm not a big fan of Evisu myself. I worked at a boutique that used to sell them back in 2001, and they've always been around out here on the west coast. I think my biggest issue is the fact that they insist on putting that large logo on every piece of clothing they make, even their shoes.
