Stella McCartney is one busy woman. Once the head designer for the House of Chlo├®, McCartney now owns and designs for her own label ‘Stella McCartney’. Ms. McCartney is also in collaboration with Adidas, until 2010, creating a line of premium sports wear designed specifically for women’s bodies; LeSportsac to create a range of 30 to 40 custom handbags; and has just completed a line for Target Australia. Now the ever busy McCartney is teaming up with Paris based Notify Jeans to create a co-branded denim collection. The jeans are expected to hit stores this coming November retailing somewhere between $375-$395. A percentage of the profits from this denim range will be donated to animal protection charities.
No offense to Stella McCartney, but if I really wanted to I’m pretty sure I could find some amazing colored denim for half that price. Oh well, it will be interesting to see how the line will do.
