Stella McCartney for Notify Jeans

Stella McCartney is one busy woman.  Once the head designer for the House of Chloé, McCartney now owns and designs for her own label ‘Stella McCartney’.  Ms. McCartney is also in collaboration with Adidas, until 2010, creating a line of premium sports wear designed specifically for women’s bodies; LeSportsac to create a range of 30 to 40 custom handbags; and has just completed a line for Target Australia.  Now the ever busy McCartney is teaming up with Paris based Notify Jeans to create a co-branded denim collection.  The jeans are expected to hit stores this coming November retailing somewhere between $375-$395.  A percentage of the profits from this denim range will be donated to animal protection charities.

No offense to Stella McCartney, but if I really wanted to I’m pretty sure I could find some amazing colored denim for half that price.  Oh well, it will be interesting to see how the line will do.
