We love it when counterfeiters get busted! From a Pennsylvania newspaper, the Sentinel Online:
“Counterfeit goods confiscated
East Pennsboro Township police arrested a North Carolina man for allegedly transporting counterfeit apparel from New York City to his home state for resale.
Police say officers investigated a man in a green GMC van parked Wednesday at the Uni-Mart on Wertzville Road in Enola.
Police allege Moustapha Moussa Adamou, 24, of Greensboro had $13,000 worth of counterfeit Nike Shoes and $1,800 worth of fake True Religion Jeans.
Officers arrested Adamou on a felony trademark counterfeiting crimes code violation. He was arraigned before District Magisterial Judge Richard S. Dougherty and taken to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of bail.
His 1999 GMC van was seized for forfeiture proceedings by the Cumberland County District Attorney’s office.”
