Check out this interesting article from the UK about designer sizing. Do you notice this in certain brands? Truth be told, we do love a store who’s size 4’s we fit into instead of a 6! Do you notice this as much in designer denim brands?

This week was fashion week in both L.A. and Seattle. Yes, Seattle. Winning awards for their Supima denim in L.A. were Goldsign, Seven for All Mankind, Paige Premium Denim, J Brand and more. What is Supima denim you might ask…Supima is the world’s finest cotton. Of the over 115 million bales of cotton produced worldwide each year, less than 1% is qualified to carry the Supima name. Supima, short for Superior Pima, is renowned for its superior fiber length, strength and natural luster. Seattle’s fashion week also brought awareness about Sling and Stones, an organic designer denim with 24kt gold rivets. Check out the HonestForum discussion on Green Jeans. Would you buy them? in buy safely, denim101 and ebay.

Of course we all know that the best way to find authentic designer jeans on Ebay is to read up on HonestForum.com to learn all the tips and things to watch for! But have you also heard about Toolhaus.org? Toolhaus is a great tool which allows you to sort a seller’s feedback by only the neutrals or negatives, and gives you a quick glance at the seller’s history. Although a seller’s feedback may be mostly positive, if you see comments that jeans are fakes, that’s a good indicator that the seller may not be selling authentics. Remember, if you are unsure, ask the experts at HonestForum!

in new brands.

Check out this new line of designer denim…Bread Denim. The New York times did an article about this startup line straight from L.A. yesterday. These are designer jeans that are made in the U.S.A. by an entrepreneur who knew he might not succeed among all the other designer lines out there.
We went into this knowing we could fail
He stuck to his guns and now his jeans are becoming the hottest new thing! Gotta love someone with passion for denim! Bread Denim does skinny, straight, and relaxed fits. Jason Ferro left Guess to create Bread Denim on a mission to make denim his own way. We can’t wait for their 2008 line!
